Fingerprint Module Overview

Fingerprint module is the core component of fingerprint lock, which is installed on devices such as fingerprint access control, hard disk, mobile phone, ฯลฯ. Fingerprint module is mainly composed of fingerprint acquisition module, fingerprint identification module, and extended function module (such as lock driving module). FPC fingerprint module is an important part of it.

Classification of FPCB Fingerprint Module

The FPCB fingerprint module can be divided into three parts according to its fingerprint identification methods:

1. Optical Fingerprint Module
   • Can identify fingerprint by refraction and reflection of light.
2. Capacitance Fingerprint Module
   • Collects the fingerprint by the value change of capacitance.
3. RF Fingerprint Module (Scratch Fingerprint Module)
   • Uses a small amount of RF signal to detect the texture.
